If there was a zero for service level i would put it. I called to reserve a room and I am english speaking with knowledge of french. I spoke with the front desk agent named Devis whom was very very rude and swore on the phone when I talked english. I'm sorry if I don't speak your language properly, but you should be able to accommodate english speaking guests and also to be nice to them. Horrible service, thank god I hung up on him and didn't end up booking. Wouldn't want to be served by this type of person who wouldn't even treat me with respect.
Great little spot. Clean, quiet and updated.
The rooms are nice and spacious. The beds are comfortable if you like soft beds. The staff is kind and the motel is very easy to find in the city. It's also conveniently located in Lac Mgantic. There is a nice restaurant adjacent to the hotel and they serve a very good breakfast. There is a Keurig coffee machine and the shampoo and soap are decent. I often go here on work trips and I'm quite satisfied.
We ended driving late into this town and didn't have too many choices. This motel was nice to rest and start up the rest of our journey. Clean, quiet and comfortable
First off, with that price, I would have expected it to be a basic clear/decent, with polite nice service. It wasn't so. First the service. The reception was rushed and a little rude. The cleaning during the first afternoon threw away some of our personal items and we never saw them again. We asked for an extra blanket via the phone, and they had us to go get it ourselves. They never invited us to ask them about anything that could increase our satisfaction with our stay, they didn't even leave the typical little notepad for suggestions. Then the cleanliness. This was a disaster: little pieces of I-don't-know-what stuck to the tapestry of the walls. Lots of small black hair through the sheets and pillows. One of the pillows had a "crunchy" spot on one side, with hair stuck in. The carpets where cheaply pined over an unequal wood floor, and were really really dirty. There was pen games from past consumers behind the TV menu. Then the looks/feels of the place. Half renovated (the bathroom) wasn't that bad, but the inside thin dark corridor between the rooms was terrible, smelled odd and creaked. We could really see that that the whole decor was quickly patched together by some contractor who either didn't know better or didn't care enough. In conclusion, this was a moderately expensive stay that I immensely regret.
